Disturbed by the persistent traffic congestion in Apapa and environs arising from indiscriminate parking of articulated vehicles and tankers on the highways and access roads within the port city, residents and business owners in Apapa have vowed to paralyse business activities in Apapa area on Thursday 24th January 2019, as the government has failed to do something to end the problem prior to the ultimatum given by the residents and business owners.

*Good evening Fellow Apapatonians and or former Apapatonians*
This Thursday, January 24th, 2019, there will be a *PLANNED* and *APPROVED* protest by APAPA residents, business owners, and other stakeholders.
The purpose is to end the *MAYHEM*, *CHAOS*, *LOSS OF BUSINESS* and & *INSECURITY* that has been our reality here in APAPA since 2015.
*ALL* governmental bodies, security agencies, etc, have been advised as to the *PROTEST* and have assured us of their *FULL* support and security.
We would like to urge *ALL* residents of APAPA GRA, as well as APAPA COMMERCIAL areas, all business owners, all landowners, and all else who are suffering due to the *INTOLERABLE* conditions caused by the lack of control, management, and legality of the *TRUCKS AND TANKERS, * permanently PARKED on the roads, and bridges, and side roads of the APAPA area.
If you care and have an iota of sense of civic duty, you will be there to *SAFEGUARD YOUR RIGHTS*
I will be there, hope to see you there so we can ALL stand TOGETHER and stand STRONG for our RIGHT to a SAFE, and SECURE life in OUR APAPA.
