A delegation from LAUTECH, Ogbomoso led by Professor Oladapo Afolabi, Chairman LAUTECH Governing Council and Pro-Chancellor, on Wednesday, paid a courtesy visit to Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde.
The visit which culminated into a long meeting was facilitated by the school Alumni president, Hon. Solomon Onilede on several issues facing the institution.
Governor Makinde rested on his sense of commitment and readiness to restore back the school lost glory.
He promised to provide a lasting solution to the challenges at the university in fulfillment of his campaign promise.
Mouthpiece NG recalled that the institution was faced with several challenges in the last few years which made workers embark on long industrial action.
Speaking with SOCIETY REPORTERS, the alumni President, Honorable Onilede Solomon said the effort was made to ensure LAUTECH is strike-free.
Onilede who reiterated his commitment to the institution’s development hinted that such meeting would also come up before the end of this month with the Osun State Governor, Gboyega Oyetola.
