Hospitality business in Lagos state is no doubt very lucrative owing to the large influx of travellers moving in and out of Eko city daily, with many seeking a place to rest their heads during their various business or pleasure trips.
In line with professional practices, the safety of these travellers within the hotel premises once they are lodged becomes the responsibility of the hotel management but alas, most times the safety of these innocent travellers are exploited as in the case of a hotel located at Abolakale Arikawe Drive in Lekki.
Recently, a viral video surfaced online with accusing fingers pointing at the staff and management of Atlantic Palms Suites Lekki Lagos after an armed robbery incident. The customer as seen in the video strongly alleged that the hotel manager and the hotel security personnel orchestrated the robbery incident that cost him all his valuables and money.
According to the video, the armed robbers who invaded the hotel at about 2am, without stress, walked into only occupied rooms and robbed guest of their belongings with the hotel management denying any involvement while claiming that their security personnel were all sick on that faithful day.
