Imudia was said to have jumped from the balcony of his apartment in the Lekki area of Lagos State on the evening of Tuesday, June 25, 2024.

“Yes, it is true. He committed the act on June 25,” the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin had told one of our correspondents on Thursday.

In this piece, Society Reporters looks at the profile of the late business and technology leader, from his educational background to professional experience and marital life.

Imudia, a business executive and technology leader, was born on April 28, 1979, in the Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State.

He later earned a Master’s in Business Administration in International Business Management from the Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences in 2012.

Having worked as a Design Engineer and a Solution Manager at NTC and Nok, respectively, Imudia put his drive for business growth into motion as he rose through the ranks to become the General Manager/Managing Director of Nokia, a multinational technology giant.

There, he supervised the management of the Nokia Device Business and Operations in West and Central Africa. He also managed the delivery of sales and marketing.

After an eight-year stint at Nokia, Imudia became the Regional Director of Alcatel OneTouch in Nigeria and Central Africa.

He held the position from April 2018 to October 2022.
