WHEN GRACE FAILS: PRINCESS TOYIN KOLADE’S CHIEFTAINCY AMBITION BURIED IN GRAVE ALIVE

It is no longer news to the social circle that one of the popular society woman, Princess Toyin Kolade as she is fondly called in the social establishment has met water loo in her quest to getting a chieftaincy tittle in the ancient town of Ile-Ife in Osun state.

Week ago news was all around that she would be getting a chieftaincy tittle from the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, but information reaching Society Reporters NG revealed that she is far from it.

We gathered reliably that she has been lobbying for the title of the Yeye Oba of Ile Ife, and the tittle is not just for anyone who parade herself as a society lady except for those who have done reasonably well philanthropically in the society and promoting the Yoruba race positively.

A source from Ile Ife told Society Reporters NG that the tittle cannot be given to anyone from outside Ile Ife, and for the fact that Toyin Kolade is from Ilesa, she is already disqualified to be bestowed with the tittle.

Some quarters in the social circle has since been asking the question that why would a princess, like Toyin Kolade claimed be aspiring to also get a chieftaincy tittle. While more questions been asked also are if she is truly a princess and of which family is she a princess in Ilesa.

Additional information gathered by us revealed that, The Iyalaje Of Apapa tittle she is been addressed by many musicians who sing her praises, is not even a tittle that was celebrated. A source close to the business woman insists that she bestowed unto herself the tittle of Iyalaje. We will dig deeper to get an answer to all these questions.
