In this unique campaign, classifieds advertising meets entertainment. The event included a special airing of success story videos.The success story participants were present alongside the winners of the on-line competition.
The success stories are real stories of everyday Nigerians who used the OLX site to either buy or sell or advertise their services. The participants included a young lady named Folashade McIver who used OLX to advertise her make up services and received over 20 customers and Dominic Uba, who got a buyer for his phone within just 10 minutes and a student and aspiring rapper named Kanye Whet.
The event also featured exclusive cuts from the OLX Makes Me Happy Competition supported by TECNO, where users were asked to record remake videos of the smash-hit “Happy” song by Pharrell for a chance to win the latest TECNO R7 Smartphone. The prizes were presented to the winners at the event by the marketing Manager for TECNO In Nigeria Soffack Sonna.

The OLX Connect radio show was also launched. It aims at reaching out to Nigerians in an even more personal way to share safety tips and experiences will be launched at the event. The presenter Chioma Okpala, is a vivacious Nigerian who speaks Yoruba and Igbo and French fluently.
