The wedding ceremony between Morenike Adebayo and Oladele Agbe-Davies, took place on Thursday, 28 June, 2018. The bride, Morenike Angela, a trained lawyer, is the first child of Otunba Richard Adeniyi Adebayo, the former governor of Ekiti State and Deputy National Chairman, South of the All Progressives Congress, APC. The bride’s mother, Erelu Angela Adebayo (née Da Silva), is a lawyer, boardroom Amazon and a strong advocate of many worthy causes. The groom is the son of Mr Fela and Mrs Sunmbo Agbe-Davies. His mother is from the prominent Ajose-Adeogun family of Lagos Island; and is the younger sister of Chief (Mrs) Lande Dekalu-Thomas, (aka Lady Cobler) a grand dame of the Nigerian social establishment. The couple began their journey to matrimony at the prestigious Cathedral Church of Christ, Marina Lagos and was well attended by friends and family. This was then followed by a grand reception at Harbour Point, Victoria Island, Lagos. King Sunny Ade was on the bandstand to perform. And so also were DJ Exclusive, Bez and Tiwa Savage who spared no effort in giving the audience the best of entertainment.
