REVEALED: DR. IBE KACHIKWU EXPOSED

Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, Minister of State for Petroleum Resources who was once the Group Managing Director of Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has been exposed.

Insiders at the NNPC squealed that while he was the GMD of NNPC he allegedly awarded pipelines security contracts worth millions of dollars to his friends and family members.

That is not all; they are also accusing him of allegedly paying millions of naira to militant groups such as; Niger Delta Avengers and others during massive attacks on petroleum pipelines in the Niger Delta.

Besides, Kachikwu has been accused of giving the security and surveillance of the nation’s pipelines to a close circle of friends and family such as; Capt. Idahosa Okunbo, Tunde Ayeni, Julius Rone, Greg Uanseru, Dumebi Kachikwu, Igho Sanomi, Ayiri Emami, Scott Tommey, Mohammed Abdul, Timbo Ayinde, and Benjamin Kuku.

The insiders are saying that the minister has no moral right to write a memo to President Muhammadu Buhari accusing the present Group Managing Director of NNPC, Dr. Maikanti Baru of awarding contracts worth 25billion dollars without due process. They said it is like a kettle calling the pot black.

Naomi’s sister provides update on arrest, cites health concerns

Simi Oluwaseyi, sister of Naomi, the estranged wife of the Ooni of Ife, has provided the latest update about her sister’s arrest, citing health concerns.

Society Reporters recalls that Naomi was arrested in connection with a tragic stampede in Ibadan that resulted in the loss of 35 lives.

In a series of Instagram posts, Similoluwa extended condolences to the parents of the deceased children, while also voicing concerns about her sister’s health.

She revealed that on the third day of her sister’s detention, her sister collapsed during interrogation by the Department of State Services (DSS) and was rushed to the hospital.

Furthermore, Similoluwa revealed that before Naomi was arraigned in court, a doctor confirmed that her blood pressure (BP) was too high, adding that she had no access to her phone or family.

Part of her post reads, “I deeply sympathize with the families of the children who lost their lives. My sister was arrested and detained for over six days, collapsing on the third day of interrogation by the DSS and being rushed to the hospital”.

JUST IN: Fire guts FIIRO office in Lagos

The Federal Institute of Industrial Research (FIIRO), office in Oshodi, Lagos, near Cappa Bus Stop has been gutted by fire.

The Nation gathered that men of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, in collaboration with the Lagos State Emergency Management Authority are currently on the ground to contain the incident.

Although no casualties have been reported so far, the fire has reportedly destroyed property worth millions of naira.

Efforts are underway to prevent the flames from spreading to adjoining offices and buildings.

The cause of the fire remains unknown at the time of filing this report.
