In an apparent bid to strengthen the All Progressives Congress (APC) and stop the internal crisis, the Governor’s Advisory Committee (GAC) has banned all groups existing within the party, we can authoritatively report.
We gathered that the decision was taken at the GAC meeting presided over by former Governor of the state and National Leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu which took place, yesterday, Tuesday, 9 June 2020 at his residence on Bourdillon Road, Ikoyi.
This medium learned that prominent among the groups banned are the two major political blocs that formed the party in the state, Justice Forum, and the Mandate Groups.
We learned that the GAC has warned that any member of the party that flouts the order will be heavily sanctioned.
Justice Forum and Mandate groups formed the major blocs within the party in the state.
