The Foundation in year 2022 trained and equipped fourty teenagers from the Sos Children’s Village Isolo on various vocational skills
As part of her humanitarian services the Foundation recently hosted a one of its kind Christmas party tagged “Season to Spread Love “ for teenage girls at the Special Correctional Center for Girls Idi-Araba
The principal of the center gave a background history about the facility , while the children had a drama presentation and also displayed some crafts from their various vocational skills
In attendance was Raggae gospel singer Righteousman and Hiphop sensation Idris Abdulkareem who shared their background story, gave words of encouragement and thrilled the audience with some of their melodious tunes . Nollywood actress and former Actors guild chairman Moji Oyetayo also known as Mama Ajasco had so much words of wisdom to share with the children
Part of the highlight was Mariam, who happens to be an ex girl of the correctional center. She was a victim of early marriage, who ran away from home at age 13 and found herself at the facility. She shared her success story as she’s now doing excellently well as a motivational speaker and registered nurse .
The foundation’s director Modupe Egbenoma was also presented with ‘The Nero’s Special Recognition Award as ‘The Most Outstanding Humanitarian Personality of Year 2023’
Speaking to her, Miss Modupe Egbenoma describes her NGO as an organization that has the best interest of children at heart .
It was indeed a day of Joy and truly a Season to Spread Love as the children were presented with gifts items , they expressed excitement and danced joyfully.
