Nollywood actress, Stephanie Okereke-Linus, was seen as a woman who has dared to dream, hence her choice as the face of VLisco Dutch wax.
However, her larger-than-life attitude is affecting everything she touches.
She was at the VLisco Women’s Month 2014 award night and, as synonymous with her, she got there late. Expectedly, the event, which was to have begun at 4 p.m., did not start until after 7 p.m. as the organisers tried to ensure her arrival before commencing.
Guests who arrived earlier kept wondering what the cause of the delay was, since it appeared all was set.
However, it dawned on them that the actress was responsible for the delay when some of the organisers heaved a sigh of relief when she waltzed into the venue.
We overheard some of the guests asking if she must always come to events late, with many of them saying that was what she used to do when she was the face of a hair product brand before she was kicked out few years ago. Others said she needed to strive to arrive early at events where she is supposed to be the chief hostess.
The International Women’s Day campaign for this year, with the theme” Dare To Dream,” is a tribute to women who have the faith and courage to realize their dreams.
