Foremost music producer, Temitayo Ibitoye popularly known as Tee-Y Mix marks his birthday today, August 22 with the release of a set of new colourful photos that shows a new side of him.

The Vivace Records founder also steps-out with a new a new website, www.teeymixmusic.com that is believed will help him connect better with his fans.

Tee-Y Mix Bio

Prolific music producer, Temitayo Ibitoye otherwise known as Tee-Y Mix is a multi-talented keyboardist and the CEO of the music label, Vivace Records. His love and passion for music was stirred at an early age as a result of the artistic and musical environment he grew up in.

An award-winning and world class A-list music producer, Tee-Y Mix is the creative genius behind several Nigerian hit songs such as Hennessy’s “Bartender”, “Tony Montana”, “Kini big deal”, “Everyday”, amongst others.

His musical dexterity has led him to work with a wide range of artists including Reekado Banks, Victor AD, Iyanya, Seyi Shay, Sound Sultan, Chidinma Ekile, Davido, Naeto C, 9ice, Darey Art Alade, Keffi, Sasha, Shank and Kwam 1, to mention a few.

Tee-Y Mix is the winner of the prestigious Headies Award for Best Music Producer for the Year which he

won in 2012. In 2008, Tee-Y Mix appeared as one of three judges for the popular reality television music

competition show, Project Fame West Africa, along with fellow judges, Adé Bantu and Bibie Brew.

Tee-Y Mix won praise during the show as a sympathetic and compassionate judge and his input guided the contestants to give their creative best.

Tee-Y Mix is renowned for creating a distinct sound that is in tune with world class production quality and he continues to create music that remain timeless.

I am pleased to announce my appointment as a member of the advisory board for the Kaduna International Film Festival. This honor is a recognition of my contributions to the growth and development of Nollywood and the African creative industry at large.

 

The Kaduna International Film Festival, established in 2018, has been a beacon of cultural promotion, tourism, youth empowerment, and peace-building in northern Nigeria. As the first international film festival in the region, it continues to bridge the gap in the northern film and creative industry, fostering inclusion and growth across the nation.

 

I am committed to leveraging my experience and expertise to further the festival’s mission of celebrating Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage and empowering young creatives. This opportunity serves as a platform to support the festival’s efforts in strengthening the film industry, both in Nigeria and beyond.
