As part of its contribution to national development and as a means of spurring the ministers to be outstanding in their duties and not just remain sitting ducks, Ireland based newspaper, The Street Journal has flagged off the second edition of its online polls for the ‘Super Minister of the Month,’ today, Wednesday, November 15.
Five ministers will be contending for the award which will be presented to the eventual winner in a televised event at the winning minister’s office.
The ministers include;
Dr Doris Uzoka Anite – Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment
Dave Umahi – Minister of Works
Betta Edu – Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation
Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo – Minister of Interior
Atiku Bagudu – Minister of Budget and Economic Planning
Nigerians are expected to vote for their choice of the most outstanding of the five ministers in a process that is free, fair and transparent as the poll has been designed in such a way that one cannot vote more than once, and one can see how the votes are cast. So, voters can be rest assured that their votes will count.
